Toddler and Child Sessions
Growing, learning, walking, running... changing so fast you can't even blink. I remember being so excited for each new stage as my little baby boy grew up but also a little sad because it meant one stage was over.
Let's freeze this moment in time for you to treasure, capture that cheeky smile, the wonder, excitement and joy (and even the occasional tantrum because trust me that will eventually become the thing you can laugh at together!)
There are so many fabulous options available for your child's portrait session and when you book with me the first thing we do is have a Discovery Call where we chat all about your little one, their character and development stage if they're still are baby. We'll also chat about your style and your home so we can plan the perfect portrait session for you.
Here are a few popular session styles to give you a few ideas.
Sitter
The sitter stage is a huge milestone and just adorable to capture but you need to be quick because it doesn't last long, one day they'll learn to sit independently and then they're on the move.
The sitter stage usually happens somewhere between 6-9 months so book your studio session date early and then it can be change if your little one isn't quite ready.
Expressions
My Expressions sessions are just perfect for toddlers and young children, they're a simple and speedy session with stunning and timeless results. Beautiful black and white portraits capturing all the expressions your little one makes while we have fun signing and playing together.
The only requirement is that your child can sit unaided next to you on a stool but don't worry they don't need to stay still or sit for any length of time on the stool, it's designed to be quick and super fun for them plus I have many years worth of tricks up my sleeve to get what we need.
Little + Lively
A black and white studio session designed for children aged 4 - 8 who are lively with big personalities and boundless energy. They will be encouraged to pull their best funny faces, run jump and twirl, stand on their head, basically whatever they feel they want to do for fun.
This session creates adorable artwork opportunities if you'd like to showcase your child's awesome personality in a simple but fun way.
Rock the Boxes
This session can be just for the children or for the whole family (including the dog!) and is fun for all ages from 18 months and up.
Who would have thought that simple white boxes could be so much fun? Well they are when you can climb on them, jump off them and play with toys on them! Plus it gives a focal point for the children to keep them where we need them to be and a distraction for the adults so we can natural, fun portraits rather than stiff and uncomfortable poses.
